  • SPS Assists in Completion of Brisbane Airport Link

Brisbane Airport Link, currently Australia’s largest infrastructure project was completed in mid 2012 after four years construction time with a project value of $4.8 billion. Specialised Pavement Services (SPS) was contracted by Thiess John Holland Joint Venture (TJH) to assist in the project to ensure proper environmental compliance.

SPS provided up to six VT605’S at any one time to assist with cleanup operations for engineering applications to maintain the strict environmental compliance standards required. SPS was also responsible for many other project responsibilities, such as the drain and pit cleaning required for the construction process and the tunnel cleansing operations (performed using regentative air machines)

Specialised Pavement Services is proud to announce that during the 40,000+ total machine hours spent on the Brisbane Airport Link project that we had ZERO lost time on injuries.
