Specialised Pavement Services Does Its Part in The Construction of Australia’s Longest Bridge

Specialised Pavement Services (SPS) is currently working on the Kempsey Bridges project (a 3.2km bridge) which is set for completion December 2012.

SPS was contracted to power wash the concrete deck prior to application of waterproof membrane (an operation essential to ensuring adhesion of the bituminous layer to the deck). Leighton’s were the primary contractor and our units have been onsite completing a range of operations from spray seal stone , construction debris and excess water removal for the entire structure.

We also utilised one of our 2012 Euro 5 VT605 to ensure that not only a perfectly clean surface was achieved but cleaning was performed with the most fuel efficient equipment available.
